Guns Don't Kill People... Lazers Do!

Diplo and Switch come together to create Major Lazer. People can call it what they will, but this is something close to dancehall and house. I can't say I love it because I'm not usually bumping dancehall... ever, but its cool to see these two very prominent DJs/producers branching into new categories like this. Can't wait to catch Mj. Lazer live, i can just see these two dropping some ill dubXdubstepXreggae dancehall babies all over... On that note here's a video and a song. Enjoy!

Treasure Fingers @ the Avalon Tonight!!

Pretty fucking pumped for tonight. I still have yet to see this disco genius in the flesh. Mr. Fingers has been tearing it up lately. The Little Boots - Meddle remix gets me wet everytime. He also recently released a 5-Minute Minimix for Annie Mac's show on BBC's Radio One.

Treasure Fingers is off of A-Trak's label Fool's Gold. The most interesting thing about this guy is he's a member of EVOL INTENT, a wicked drum n bass group/producers. Very genre crossing this guy is.

Fake Blood

I got the chance to see Fake Blood at EDC this weekend. Super sick nasty.






He pretty much spun off the first hour of his Essential Mix for Radio 1. If you don't know about the Essential Mix series... wow. Anyways you can check out the tracklisting here and download it here.
